Your Guide to Summerland Golf

Welcome to Summerland, where lush vineyards meet stunning lakeside views, and golf enthusiasts find their slice of paradise. Nestled in the heart of the Okanagan, Summerland boasts two exceptional golf courses. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice looking to enjoy a leisurely 9-hole round amidst the stunning scenery, Summerland has something for every golfer.

Summerland Golf & Country Club

Nestled on Paradise Flats, the course at Summerland Golf & Country Club offers a blend of challenges and stunning scenery that will keep you coming back for more. The layout presents a striking contrast between the front and back nines, promising a dynamic experience from start to finish.

From the first tee perched 75 feet above the fairway, you’ll be treated to a sweeping view of the Okanagan Valley. The front nine welcomes you with generous fairways and a mix of links-style and tree-lined holes. But don’t let the seemingly gentle start fool you – with four significant par 4s stretching over 400 yards, the front nine demands you to be on your “A” game.

As you make your way to the back nine, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a picturesque grove of Ponderosa Pines, where rolling fairways, elevation changes, and undulating greens await. Winding around Trout Creek Canyon, each hole offers stunning views and challenging play.

The experience doesn’t end with the course. Summerland Golf & Country Club boasts a top-notch practice facility, including a 300+ yard range with both grass and synthetic tee areas, practice bunkers, a chipping green, and a putting green. Plus, with fully qualified PGA of Canada Professional Staff on hand, you can take advantage of clinics and private lessons to hone your skills and get the most out of your game.

Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club

Don’t have time for a full 19? No problem. Known as Canada’s Finest Public Short Course, Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club offers a beautiful 9-hole executive course for golfers to enjoy. Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Valley, the course provides a serene escape to test your game.

No clubs no problem. Rent from a wide selection and take advantage of the pull or power carts to save some energy. While the course offers challenges that will test even seasoned golfers, it’s also an excellent place for beginners to learn the ropes.

With its welcoming atmosphere and scenic vistas, Sumac Ridge Golf & Country Club provides an ideal setting for players of all skill levels to enjoy a day on the links.
