More Than Just Breakfast
The Jammery is perhaps the most well-known breakfast and lunch restaurant in the Okanagan. The Original Jammery is located on seven acres of agricultural land in beautiful Lake Country, BC. Established in 2000, this local hotspot houses not only a restaurant, but a jam production facility and gift shop as well. Having recently expanded into another location in Kelowna known as “The Jammery City”, locals and tourists alike flock to both locations for the tasty food and friendly service.
While you’re at The Original Jammery, you can watch the jam production from the convenient viewing area in the gift shop. Locally sourced BC fruit is the main ingredient in their delicious jams, and they contain much more fruit than added sugar. Sweet & savory jams, along with pepper jellies are what have made them so well known around the region. If you’re anything like us, once you taste the jams, you’ll probably be leaving with a stack for the road!
Along with the award winning jams, the gift shop features a wide selection locally made trinkets, gifts, and more food products. It’s not just a dining experience here at The Jammery – the friendly staff are more than happy to share what makes this place so special, as well as the beautiful agricultural land in which it sits on!
Menu & Experience
It’s no secret that The Jammery serves some of the best breakfast around. Our personal favourite, along with many others is the All You Can Eat Waffle, topped with whipped cream and the in-house made strawberry or four-berry sauce. Other popular, and to be honest just as tasty dishes are the Philly Cheesesteak Eggs Benedict, The Big Big Big Breakfast, and the Breakfast Paella. After reading this, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that the portions are huge, who doesn’t love that? Fresh, locally sourced ingredients play a huge role in the delicious taste and quality of these dishes. Almost all of the breakfast dishes are served with their famous homemade jam – you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how well they pair with every part of your meal!
When lunchtime rolls around, you have your choice of either All Day Breakfast or a dish from their smaller yet flavour packed lunch menu. Salads, Beef Dip, and a variety of B.L.Ts are just a few of the excellent lunch options….but honestly, we’re gonna choose All You Can Eat Waffles over anything.
Location & Hours
The Original Jammery is located 4 minutes north of the Kelowna International Airport along Highway 97. Be careful turning left into the parking lot if you’re traveling from Kelowna as the highway is typically very busy. The Jammery City is located a few minutes south, in Kelowna, near the corner of Highway 97 and Highway 33.
Both locations are open daily from 8:00am – 3:00pm.
