The popular captivation of this waterfront resort dates back over 100 years. In 1902, the hotel was developed, catering to elite travelers who wanted to experience a true summer haven. The Victorian style hotel welcomed guests for over 20 years, but was devastated by a forest fire in 1925. Today, the Resort sits on the same Okanagan shoreline as the previous hotel. Not forgetting its past, SWR credits much of its success to the deep history in which it was built on. Accommodating groups of all sizes, each room is equipped with luxurious amenities and gorgeous views of the Okanagan. Depending on your room choice, there are three different view types: Lake View, Partial Lake View, or Bluff View.
The Studio Suite: A perfect place for two. Featuring an open concept space, this suite contains a comfortable queen bed, living room, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, and full bathroom. An all in one space complimented by a beautiful view and private balcony.
The One Bedroom Suite: This suite provides a larger amount of space, sleeping up to 4 guests comfortably. Featuring a separate bedroom with a queen or king bed, a living room, full kitchen & dining area, and extra space for a pull out sofa bed. One of these suites is wheelchair accessible and complimented by a stunning view of the outdoor pool and Okanagan Lake.
The Two Bedroom Suite : These are the largest suites at SWR. With space for up to 6 guests to comfortably stay, the Two Bedroom Suites are ideal for larger groups or families. Two private bedrooms, a living room, dining area, full kitchen, and fireplace, these suites will feel like your home away from home.
To enhance your stay, take advantage of the many luxurious amenities this property offers; a seasonal outdoor pool, year-round hot tub, steam room, private beachfront, fitness center, beach rentals, day spa, and much more. Dogs are permitted in specific rooms for an additional fee of $25 per day, for a maximum of 4 nights.

Boathouse Bar & Grill, also located beside the Resort is a summertime favorite serving up delicious casual food in an inviting Yacht Club atmosphere.
